Joseph Farah On The Coming of Elijah

Joseph Farah On The Coming of Elijah

WND.com
“It seems Elijah will have a pivotal role in the coming of the Messiah, specifically in reminding a future generation of the importance of the Law of Moses,” wrote Joseph Farah in his article The Mystery of Elijah – And His Return on World Net Daily.
“What is Elijah going to do before Jesus returns?” Farah asks.
Paraphrasing Scripture, his answer is that Elijah will remind his generation about the Law of Moses, turning the hearts of children to their fathers and vice versa. However, that’s the watered-down version, because Scripture said to not only remember The Law, but to return to it.
Malachi 4:4 Remember ye and return to The Law of Moses My servant, which I commanded unto him in Horeb for all Israel, [with] the Statutes and Judgments.
Elijah’s generation is warned to Return to the Law of Moses AND to God’s Statutes and Judgments. All these can be found in The Torah, the first five Books of The Bible, given to Moses by God.
Farah questioned why we would need to return to The Law, if the church teaches that the Law of Moses is dead. He questioned why would God bring it back again. His suggestion is, “just as the Pharisees of Jesus’ day perverted scripture by adding to the law, is it possible that today’s church has twisted scripture by subtracting from it and rendering irrelevant the commandments of God that define sin?”
His suggestion is correct; but partially. Let’s look at what Jesus said about the churches:
Matthew 6:5 And when thou prayest, thou shalt NOT be as the hypocrites [ARE]: for they love to pray standing in the churches and in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen by men. Verily I say unto you, they have their reward (they wanted to be seen and they have been seen, so they already have the reward they wanted and therefore God will NOT answer them).
Matthew 6:6 But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and WHEN THOU HAST SHUT THY DOOR, pray to thy Father IN PRIVATE; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly (by answering you).
Jesus indicates that God is not found in the churches, but is found within. He knew churches were corrupt and led, and still lead, people away from God, by adding to and subtracting from The Law. But it wasn’t just the churches; it was the government – and still is. The Pharisees were politicians. And what do politicians do – they add and subtract man-made legislation in direct defiance to The Law of God. We are looking at church and state – which will both be judged guilty (Enoch 58:1).
Deuteronomy 4:2 Ye shall not ADD unto the word which I command you, neither shall ye diminish [ought] from it, that ye may keep the Commandments of the “I AM” your God which I COMMAND you.
Deuteronomy 12:32 What thing soever I command you, observe to do it: thou shalt not add thereto, nor diminish from it.
This is a direct, simple and concise command; yet, how many pieces of legislation do you live under that are in direct defiance of God’s Law? He created The Law so that His people would observe and do it – and this would ensure that no “body, or corporation, or organization, or beast-system” could enslave you.
The church should have been a community, or nation, loyal to God first. This is the first great commandment. So while our persuaded-politicians go along with the Opposer’s evil plans to turn the world into one big Sodom and Gomorrah, where every perversion is acceptable, you might want to remember and return to The Law, or burn.
It can’t get much simpler than that, as chapter four of Malachi begins:
Malachi 4:1 For, behold, the Day cometh, that shall burn like an oven; and all the proud, yea, and all that do wickedly, shall be stubble: and the day that cometh shall burn them up, saith the “I AM” Lord of hosts, that it shall leave of them neither root nor branch (nothing).
Prophets have always been sent to warn us; but so far we’ve never really heeded their call. We forget that God always carries out The Sentence of The Law. A little time goes by, and God’s people stray and forget, until the Reminder comes. Then it’s hard for us to grasp, because our parents and grandparents didn’t burn – yet. “The world is bad, but we’ll be long gone before the destruction,” we tell ourselves.
Back to Farah’s article.
He writes that Jesus tells us something about Elijah when the scribes ask doesn’t Elijah come before the Messiah; and quoting scripture, Farah tells us Jesus said Elijah will come first to restore all things. Farah then asks us to consider that, “Elijah will restore all things.”
While this is scripturally true, Farah seems to have fallen for a lie that the churches teach, because he thinks that John the Baptist may have been Elijah, writing in the article, “Lo and behold, in the gospels, John The Baptist is directly compared by Jesus with Elijah.” The scripture actually reads Elias, who was the disciple of Elijah. This is an example of how following the churches will lead one astray.
Jesus verified that John was Elias/Elisha, and the one who appeared with Moses at the transfiguration:
Matthew 17:3 And, behold, there appeared unto them Moses and Elias talking with him.
Matthew 17:10 And his disciples asked him, saying, Why then say the lawyers that Elias must first come?
Matthew 17:11 And Jesus answered and said unto them, Elias truly shall first come, and restore all things.
Matthew 17:12 But I say unto you, That Elias is come already, and they knew him not, but have done unto him whatsoever they listed. Likewise shall also the Son of Man suffer of them.
Matthew 17:13 Then the disciples understood that he spoke unto them of John the Baptist (Elias – Elisha NOT Elijah).
So, when the churches teach you that Elijah already came, question their blindness, or deceit. Elijah comes in the end times, as recorded in Malachi.
Farah suggests that we pay attention to what Elijah will do on his second coming. Again, “He will restore all things.” Then, Farah promotes his latest book The Restitution of All Things: Israel, Christians and The End of Age. But is Farah another blind leader? Is it his book we need to read or is it The Torah, which contains God’s Law, Statutes and Judgements?
Let’s examine Malachi 4 again:
Malachi 4:2 But unto you that fear My name shall the Sun of Righteousness arise with healing in his wings; and ye shall go forth, and grow up as calves of the stall.
Malachi 4:3 And ye shall tread down the wicked; for they shall be ashes under the soles of your feet in The Day that I shall do [this], saith the “I AM” Lord of hosts.
If we fear God, and remember and return to The Law, our nation will be healed by Christ, the Sun of Righteousness, and we can grow up as calves in the stall under His care; and go forth to remove all wickedness from the Earth.
Another fallacy that the church teaches is that Jesus cancelled The Law of Moses, which is why Farah wrote what he did about The Law being dead. This teaching/belief is contrary to what Scripture actually says.
Matthew 5:17 Think not that I am come to destroy The Law, or the Prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfill.
Matthew 5:18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no way pass from The Law, till all be fulfilled.
Matthew 5:19 Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least COMMANDments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the Kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach [them], the same shall be called great in the Kingdom of heaven.
Thus, any church teaching that The Law was cancelled is pretty low in God’s eyes. The only thing Jesus cancelled out was animal-sacrifice, which He replaced with daily sacrifice of the ego-SELF, meaning we should control our human-animal with our Spirit-Being, like He showed us.
Jesus came to fulfill (“fully preach” in the Greek translation) The Law – the one Jerusalem had forsaken, found in The Torah; and replacing it with the Talmud. He said it: Thus have ye made the Commandment of God of none effect by your Tradition (Talmud).
By Tradition, He meant The Talmud, which means “Traditions of Men”. This is clarified in the Gospel of Mark when the Pharisees/politicians and scribes/attorneys ask about the disciples eating without washing their hands, because it was the “Tradition of the elders” to do so.
Mark 7:5 Then the politicians and lawyers asked him, Why walk not thy disciples according to the “Tradition of the Elders” (Talmud), but eat bread with unwashen hands?
Mark 7:6 He answered and said unto them, Well hath Isaiah prophesied of you hypocrites, as it is written, This people honoureth me with [their] lips, but their heart is FAR from me.
Mark 7:7 Howbeit in vain do they worship me, teaching [for] doctrines the commandments of men.
Mark 7:8 For laying aside the COMMANDment of God, ye hold the “Tradition” of men, [as] the washing of pots and cups: and many other such like things ye do.
Mark 7:9 And he said unto them, Full well ye reject the COMMANDment of God, that ye may keep your own “Tradition”.
Christians today still worship God in vain, because they abide by thousands of pieces of man-made doctrine/legislation; and have put The Commandments of God far from them. For example, The American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) and other branches of the Synagogue of Satan have seen to this – as they bully everyone into being politically-correct, instead of Lawfully-Abiding. No one heeds God’s Government; and He is going to annihilate their Satanic one. Churches continue to get congregations to follow their politicians by conveniently misinterpreting scripture again, by telling them to obey a higher power – political powers.
But our righteousness is not from any man-made political government which “crafts” legislation incessantly to feed the beast. We don’t need to follow self-righteous individuals thinking they are a law unto themselves, keeping their traditions alive. Our righteousness is The Law; and in keeping and doing it.
Deuteronomy 6:25 And IT shall be our righteousness, if we observe to DO all these Commandments before the “I AM” our God, as He hath COMMANDED us.
Scripture teaches us continually that we will be judged by our righteousness. For Righteousness is immortal (Sol. 1:15). Thus, we’d better learn what that means.
Jesus used “righteousness” similarly to The Law in Matthew 3:15 when talking to John the Baptist (Elias) before His baptism, “And Jesus answering said unto him, Suffer [it to be so] now: for thus it becometh us to fulfill all righteousness. Then he suffered him.” The Spirit of God descending like a dove and lighting upon Him, signified that He took back His mantle from Elias/Elisha.
We learn The Law by performing it; and following The Way of The King of Righteousness, as our Master, Teacher, Example, and Redeemer. He is the Sun of Righteousness; and He has a song for us to perform/sing that includes the Song of Moses.
Revelation 14:3 And they sung as it were a New Song (Isaiah 42:10) before the Throne, and before the four beasts, and the elders: and no man could learn that “Song” except the hundred [and] forty [and] four thousand, which were redeemed from the Earth.
Revelation 15:3 And they sing the “Song of Moses” (Old Covenant – Deut. 31) the servant of God, AND the “Song of the Lamb” (New Covenant), saying, Great and marvellous [are] Thy works, Lord God Almighty; just and true [are] Thy Ways, Thou King of the holy people.
Thus the New Song is the Song of Moses (The Law of Moses) and the Song of the Lamb, harmonized together. Now, you’ve got to ask yourself, “Do I want to perform it and survive” or be a fool.
Wisdom 18:27 A wise man will fear the Lord in every thing, and in the day of sinning he will beware of offence: but a fool will not observe time.
These are the Days of Elijah.
The article’s subtitle “Exclusive: Joseph Farah explains what we don’t know about prophet’s lineage” suggest that he has something to reveal, but his explanation falls short, reading more like a Wikipedia page.
What does Elijah The Tishbite mean? If you do an Internet research, websites will regurgitate each other with the “accepted” meaning or meanings. But you could be misled. The “accepted” meaning of “Jesus of Nazareth” is that he was from Nazareth. He can’t have been from a place that didn’t exist until after his ascension, as it was built in the 4th century A.D. “Nazir” simply means TRUTH. Jesus was Truth.
As far as Elijah The Tishbite goes, the Wikipedia version explains that either that he was from a town with a similar spelling or that Tishbite means “to dwell”. Thus, Elijah could have been a sojourner, as Farah points out.
An explanation found on an Internet forum suggests a deeper meaning. The author wrote, “תשבי” Tishbite, begins with the root word “שב” and means “to return”. Adding a yod to the end makes it plural and becomes the word “שבי” meaning “to dwell”. With the preposition tav the word becomes “He shall return to dwell”. This definition makes more sense in the context. The word Elijah is a compound of the words “El & Ya” meaning “My G-d is YHVH”. The passage then reads “Elijah the Tishbite” or “G-d is YHVH, He shall return to dwell”.
Because he could have been a sojourner, some claim he could have been a gentile. It is more likely that given his status as God’s chosen prophet at the time, Elijah was a Levite. Levites were not given land, because God said He would be their inheritance (Deut. 10:9). Levites dwelled in Israelite lands and were sheltered and fed by them.
Joshua 14:4 For the children of Joseph were two tribes, Manasseh and Ephraim (Israel): therefore they gave no part unto the Levites in the land, save cities to dwell [in], with their suburbs for their cattle and for their substance.
Before traveling to Samaria to warn king Ahab and Jezebel, as a Levite, Elijah could have dwelled freely in Gilead, land identified with the tribes of Manasseh, Gad and Rueben. Elijah then dwelled by the brook Cherith, near Jordan; dwelled with the widow in Zarephath, which belonged to Zidon; and returned to Samaria again to challenge 850 false prophets. His mission took him to many places like Beersheba, Mount Horeb, Damascus, Bethel, and Jericho.
Elijah literally received his inheritance when he was “taken” to dwell with God (2 Kings 2:11). Remember Levi’s portion of inheritance?
Deut. 10:9 Wherefore Levi hath no part nor inheritance with his brethren; the “I AM” [is] his inheritance, according as the “I AM” thy God promised him.
Elijah was taken by an identified flying object in the sky, which they called a chariot of fire.
2 Kings 2:11 And it came to pass, as they still went on, and talked, that, behold, [there appeared] a chariot of fire, and horses of fire, and parted them both asunder; and Elijah went up by a whirlwind into heaven.
But Elijah was prophesied to return and dwell among us again, aligning more with the forum’s explanation of what Tishbite means –“God is Yahweh and He shall return to dwell”.
In fact, Christ is also prophesied to dwell with us again.
To his credit, Farah challenges readers to read Scripture themselves; however, the article is meant to introduce his new book. You could choose to read it; or you could choose to read what Elijah The Prophet wrote in 1986: The Way home or face The Fire – it’s a free download. He sheds the best light on his purpose; and reveals the mysteries of God – and why you are here.

Gibraltar Messenger: You Are A Slave

This message can’t get much simpler.

According to the latest online Gibraltar Messenger, residents need to take a dose of reality to what is true and what they wrongly believe to be true.

The article targets Gibraltarians, but it has a message for the world.
You are going to have to choose. You can stay in the matrix and get short-circuited with it; or you can swallow and digest the real Truth.

GOD – the Guardian of Divinity; Who is known by His wonderful names like Father, Jehovah, YHWH, Allah, and Great Spirit, etc., is trying to get your attention and wake you up.

He set a Corner Stone upon the Earth; but throughout our history, we have rejected it:

Psalms 118:22 The stone [which] the builders refused is become the head [stone] of the corner.

It is very fitting that Christ, who was and is this Corner Stone, is connected to the most famous Stone upon the Earth; known as The Stone of Destiny; Jacob’s Pillar Stone; Lia Fail; and Bethel (House of God). It is the Coronation Stone of the British Empire; the True Israelites; descendants of Isaac (I-Sax-sons); and his son Jacob (Union of Jack).

Genesis 49:24 But his (Joseph’s) bow abode in strength, and the arms of his hands were made strong by the hands of the mighty [God] of Jacob; (from THERE [is] The Shepherd, The [Corner] Stone of Israel:).

Israel, God’s people all over the world (not the Edomites and Ashke-nazis occupying the Holy Lands), are in bondage (slavery) for again turning away from Him – The God of Jacob, Isaac and Abraham. This bondage is a curse for backsliding and going after other gods. These false gods have created an illusionary matrix that everyone lives in; and just like the movies, it will have an end.

In 1997, WHD Freeman gave a wonderful and moving sermon about Jacob’s Pillar Stone and its relation to Israel. It can be viewed at The Truth about The Stone of Destiny at JAHTruth.net.

The choice is yours. Are you going to continue to believe the fake stone sitting in Edinburgh Castle is real, so that you don’t have to deal with the fact that you are a slave; or are you going to wise-up and see how wonderful and amazing God’s Perfect Laws of Liberty with their Commandments, Judgements and Statutes are? It is those that will set you free. Until you pick up The Real Stone, you will be blocked from seeing the Truth.

God has overturned the Stone of Destiny (His Throne) three times already in world history.

Ezekiel 21:27 I will overturn, overturn, overturn, it: and it shall be no [more], [overturned] UNTIL he come whose Right it is; and I will give it [him – Shiloh (Gen. 49:10)].

The fourth overturn is in progress. It began on December 25, 1950 and awaits its final fulfillment.

1 Peter 2:6 Wherefore also it is contained in the Scripture, Behold, I lay in Sion a chief Corner-Stone, elect, precious: and he that believeth him shall not be confounded.
There’s a whole lot to that “Believeth Him” meaning; but you have to take and digest the little white stone.

Please share the Gibraltar Messenger with others.

Is Your World Turning Upside Down?

Greetings to all, we are glad you are here and hope this finds you well, and in good spirit. I would like to expound on our guest writer’s article: "The Difference Between Advice and Encouragement", in a way that you can begin to see it in action, from a daily relationship, and how we all either create an upside-down world, or a right-side-up world, based on the outcome of our daily decisions, thoughts, actions (the big and little ones) and what effect they have on our lives, and all those around us.
Many years back I began to imagine being married to a man who was a good man, who would be the leader in the family and take good care of me and his family; something I had not been able to experience in this life at that time, but now realize, I was not a spiritually feminine lady, at that time, and that was why. I dreamed of having a relationship where harmony worked to create a much more peaceful and productive environment, than I was living in at the time. I began by loving myself first, and, as the dream unfolded, I starting to face the obstacles of my past actions and decisions of allowing myself to be used, abused, becoming co-dependent, independent, bossy, etcetera, that had been preventing me from realizing my dream. By first taking an honest look at myself, and what position in the game of life I had chosen, which helped to created the chaos and disharmony in the first place, I faced my fears of not being loved. Knowing this was no way to live, I made a tough decision. Relying on this new knowing I set healthier boundaries, changed body-language and welcomed the change, accepting that this was right and that the dream would be fulfilled. Up until this point in my life all that me, myself, and I, had accomplished was hurting myself, others, and creating an "upside-down world."
We have all heard the old saying, "love makes the world go 'round" (not sex), contrary to what we all have been taught by today’s upside-down society; sex and Love are not one in the same. Sex without love makes you feel worthless, used and abused. Love points us to The Ruler of The Universe, because He is LOVE. Acknowledging that He created and successfully runs the entire Universe, we should be able to trust Him to teach us how to become good and love one another. Women, if you offer a Real Man sex before marriage he will see this as a big turn off, instead of turn on, and will view you as promiscuous and untrustworthy. If you dress for sex, exposing a lot of skin, tight jeans and low neck tops, etcetera, then your body-language will most likely attract a man who has one thing on his mind, and it is not in either of your best interests. On the other hand, when you become spiritually feminine you will dress demure and feminine, learning how to attract the love of a real man, and enjoy the essence of True love, which you will deserve and enjoy. The wealth of becoming spiritually feminine is obtainable for all women. It is priceless, and I encourage each of you to seek after this special gift, if you don't already possess it, and are actively practicing it every day. For the most part, our world turns right-side-up, by me being humble and teachable, always asking for my husband’s guidance, because ultimately he Rules over me and has the final decisions on everything. I have learned that my husband is still learning how to be spiritually mature, and makes mistakes too; this is a learning process for both of us. When this happens it is my responsibility to support him in his growth, and encourage him to correct his wrongs according to God's Commandments, which will reflect his behavior back to him, making this conflict between him and God alone. By doing what is right, we ensure that God will be on our side, providing and protecting us through our husbands, as promised. By acting non-manipulative and submissive you will take yourself out of the conflict, helping him more than if you argue about who is right or wrong, or try to convince a man with Satan’s advice, like Eve did to Adam, which only leads to discord in the relationship. Hopefully, you are now beginning to "see" that by acting spiritually feminine, you have a far greater effect on the relationship. If we want to live a joyful, healthy life, it is important to put God first and foremost in all aspects of our lives, by following His perfect Laws. By doing so, you fall under His promised blessings, where He will never let you down and you will never feel alone. You will always receive His unconditional LOVE, when and IF you are ready to receive it. As we ALL have been told, "Father knows best", so it seems that The 10+2 Command-ments are a perfect guide, that everyone should follow when making decisions, and taking action, on a daily basis. The word Command-ments means commanded to obey, and they were given to us with our best interest in mind.
A mutual friend, who introduced my husband and I, had been trying for a while to get me to agree to meet him, so she shared many things about him, like his talents and pictures of him, but the one thing that really sparked my interest, because I was not interested in his looks and another bad relationship, was the fact he did not work on the Sabbaths (Saturday) for money. She said he would help people out on that day, if need be, but never charge for it. This made my decision to allow her to give him my number. He later shared with me, that prior to us meeting, while on vacation, he had cried out to God at the top of the mountain, accepting the fact that God had not placed the right woman in his life, accepting instead the solitary life he had been living with God, which he had done for over seven years. When he returned he saw her message, and he waited a while, to be sure he was supposed to call me. After nearly a week, he called me, and that's when I asked him about his relationship with Christ. Based on his answer, I had some trust in him, before actually meeting in person, publicly, and was now looking for his actions to line up with his words. He invited me to meet him for dinner one Sunday evening. Before ordering I mentioned I might have a beer, which I didn't, because the thought of finding a man who truly wanted to serve God was important to me, and I did not want to run him off. He kindly replied with compassion in his voice, "Is that what you think you need to be doing with your life?" Although I had drunk alcohol almost every day, up until I met him, that evening was when I stopped drinking. I have never had another drink since, and now I see how I was testing him, to see if he was for real, and he sure was. He suggested we study together on The Sabbaths, which I enjoyed, because he read God's Holy Word to me, and that is when my desires for alcohol, materialism, sex, vanity, money, power, etcetera began to diminish, and for the first time I felt satisfied inside. The truth is alcohol dissolves our inhibitions to abstain from sinful behaviors. Prior to meeting him, I did not want to drink, but had not been able to stop, even though I had attended church and 12 step meetings.
As the relationship grew, I could see his words lined up with his actions, as he stood firm in his beliefs. He exercised his manhood establishing healthy boundaries for our relationship. One of the greatest demonstration of his love and respect for our Creator, himself and me was when he informed me of his wishes for us to stay out of bed, insisting on saying our marriage vows to God and each other first, and then consummating our marriage on the honeymoon, thereby obeying the First Commandment to Love God first. I agreed, knowing this would take great self-control on both our parts, and we both faithfully kept our word to God and each other. As a result, he surprised me with a white rose, dipped in gold, on our honeymoon night, as a gift/symbol celebrating our purity together. Another way he did not over-step his boundaries with me, was when he knelt down to ask if he could kiss me for the first time, which touched my heart deeply and proved he was a gentleman. I liked this way of creating our world/thinking and felt the true love, that his actions were proving between us. With his masculine love and good examples, I now had hope, a sense of security, which made me feel loved and cherished, as our love grew stronger. Have you ever heard this saying? “YOU are your own worst enemy.” That is the Truth, and until we face these facts our egos will defeat us every time, keeping us from attracting and falling in love with a real man.
Learn to take action, change behaviours and set boundaries, so this kind of man will seek you out, and then you will be able to learn that your greatest power lies in your willingness to be guided by a real man. I faced-down my ego and learned to look to him for everything, especially strength and courage to continue to follow him, and this new way of learning to love each other, that he was teaching me.
When we first started dating, he had been working on a single woman's residential home for quite a while, and he told me he needed to get finished with it, and move on to others. So he asked me to help him with the work one day, which set the foundation for him to train me to be his help-meet. It was during this time that he would repeat a saying that I did not fully understand, but was willing to learn. He kept repeating it, sometimes on a daily basis, "familiarity breeds contempt". At the time I was learning how to recognize my feelings and behaviors more, with a sober mind now, a gut feeling if you will, a knowing, and trusting in this guidance. The more he would say this quote, the more I understood and put it into action, being careful to keep our healthy boundaries each day, striving to always be courteous, greeting each other with a kiss and a hug, being polite, putting the needs of others first, before my self, and learning when conflict came, to still do the same.
Through these acts of selflessness the love continued to grow, and I began to understand how to let him lovingly guide me, as our hours turned into days. The time flew by and my world started turning right-side-up. At the time we met, I had also been attending organized religion for years, but when I ask my new best friend to go with me, he said he could not do that, knowing the truth about those organizations, stating, instead, that Christ's sacrifice on the cross had abolished the priesthood, for all
